I have vids of both amps playing the same sub in the same box if you guys want to see let me know if your on a budget the cab is just the best way to go.

If your XTR was going into protect I wonder if you had a bad amp. I never had any of my Orion's go into protect.... And my 1500 was strong as hell.

Something bout dem cab's... maybe cause they have more low impedance capability... idk... but they do got some power... I've heard that orion and belva everyone is so high on... but the cab's get it done... I never lacked for power or had one go into protect... and mine were briefly at 1 ohm strapped... lol
