Orion vs eD

Ha, I don't mean the amps produce the bass. The JL and eD amp will help the speaker produce louder/clearer bass.
Everyone would love to have Sundown amps etc, but were dealing in a price range here.

You can get a used JL for about the same as an eD. Personally, I just have a hard time not getting something CEA rated nowdays. The eD is fine, just get it. I'm sure you won't regret it. Cheap, and it has a warranty.
You won't hear the .1% difference in THD from an amp when the sub itself is creating 10% THD on its own.

I'm not saying you will. Some amps just offer cleaner power. An MTX amp can have the same THD as a sundown, yet the sundown is going to sound better. Better sound in quality engineering.

lol with all of these mixed replies i'm even more torn than before. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
and millertime thanks for the offer but i'm not sure my parents will go for buying from someone online. they will be the ones ordering and i'll pay them back otherwise i'd consider it. thanks though.

The reason you are getting negative reviews or reviews from people who say "don't choose eD" is because eD HAD a bad history. Back in the day, the owner was known for ripping customers off.

However, they've changed their ways of business now days.

I've purchased $900+ from eD in early 2007 and $500 from eD just a couple of months ago and there has been no problems with them. All of my eD products are working very nicely.

So, from personal experience with them, they're a reliable company.

It is also true that their eD amps are underrated, so that's a no brainer to why go with eD amps over the Orion.

The warranty on the eD amps are nice too! Plus, it only costs about ~$20 to get it shipped to them if there is ever a problem.
