Amp going into protection

ok im running a Us amps xt4000d on 4 PB 2xl, 15's . Im using a kinetik HC2400,and 0awg wiring. My amp is gettting 15 volts but it still kicks into protection when i turn the volume up.

It may be your alternator. You still using stock? What is its rated amperage?

im not trying to bash you but that amp is the cheapest amp us amps makes....it only puts out like 900 watts max..

what ohm are you running all those 15's at? that is probably why it is cutting off on you...
