Orion HCCA 15.4

no. for the love of all that is holy, no. that orion needs AT LEAST 2500 watts to get moving. they are aren't very efficient subs. i'm doubting you have any idea what you are getting into. to run 2000+ watts you need to upgrade your alt, big 3, and possibly add batteries depending on how much power you decide to go with.
well with both of them it is 3000wats... or am i just completely wrong?

that orion gets pretty freaking loud in a ported box i have the 12 and only have 700 watts going to it and makes everything in the car shake and my back window flex.
the Orion HCCA's seem like such a good deal for there power. is it as clean as the w7 though?

yea its hella a louder then the w7 my friend has 1 13.5w7 i put my amp on half gain to the sub then i pulled my amp out and he hooked his up and you can kinda of hear that mine was louder. we both have ported boxes to. no there not as clean as w7s.

if i were you, i'd worry about getting some decent, lower wattage equipment at first and then upgrade. you'd be surprised what a 500 watt system installed right sounds like.

im pretty sure.. i had it professionally installed... it already sounds really good but im never satisfied //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
