Orion Amps........Quality And Durability

I jus bought the orion HP-4800 4 channel amp for my mids and highs. its got 2 thirty amp fuses and is rated at 65x4 at 4ohms, 100x4 at 2 ohms and 200x2 at 4 ohms bridged. i got 2 pairs of beyma components that are both 6.5" in size an about 100 watts rms and are all 4ohms. is ths amp good enough and also is this the real ratings or is this amp more powerful? thanx for the help

Orion makes good quality amps (I've heard they were bad azz back in the day, but they're still gret today imo) i've ran my 1200d (factory refurb) for over a year now and it's still goin strong, also have a 3002 that's not hooked up yet.

Nothing close to what they were and not great today by any standards but Audiobahn's. Attempt to refrain from thinking about the old Orion and the new one in the same context. DEI down the drain. Arc>Zenon>DEI

I beg to differ a lil bit. I admit, comparing the pre DEI buyout Orion to the current is like night and day, but I would def not compare them to Audiobahn. I bout my 1200d from Sounddomain and ran (4) AA assassin 12s at 1ohm for over a year. I listen to the system at full blast at anytime I was free. Never had one problem with my amp at all and that was with a stock alt and the Big 3.
