I had an american bass xd3000, well its f'd. Almost caught on fire.
I have been shopping around tonight, and i would like to buy another american bass mono amp but i can't find pricing for them anywhere online. This has led me to browse other amp companies.
I need enough power to push my soon to be returning w/ a fresh recone DD95 series sub......will come back as a 15 most likely. still not sure though.
I am looking at the following names and have a price range of around 600$ Would prefer a single amp but i may go with two that can be strapped.
Crossfire VR1000D's two strapped....can get locally used w/a 4 channel for 500$ total for a pair and an amp to push mids/highs.
Alphasonik-never heard one of these amps in person, or seen anyone running them.
Hifonics......kinda iffy on these
Memphis......would either do a M4kD or a pair of smaller amps strapped.
i know this is like many other threads, but i am mainly looking for people who have ran the crossfire and alphasonik amps to chime in.........i really really like the alphasonik amps and if they will do rated power i like them even more.
I also like the crossfire combo because they are supposed to do over rated power, and i can get a killer deal on them as stated above.
Opinions please.
