Orion 2500d owners i need ure help...

hcaa fan just told you what to do......if I were you, I would take that advice and use it......................................
umm notice that he told me what to do at 11 this morning... i have tried this stuff.. needed to do big 3 anyway... so dont just immediatly assume that i am not takin advice cuz i am.... i took sblazers advice last night on AIM and too hccafans advice today and all with the same results.... im taking all the advice i can get. so instead of assuming im not taking advice how about helping me?

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif I'm running a stock alt on my 2500d right now. Of course I never use more than 600 watts from it...

If you're using 0db tones and setting it @ the right level. And the final impedance load is correct, you may have a bad board.

intelliq 1/4thlpf-35hz or so

hpf- like 90hz

gain 1/4 or a little above

12/full/24- 24

i guess the big question is can RLPS even handle this kind of power?

since your not very good at listening, let me point out where you are going wrong. then maybe you can have bass.

see lpf, you have it at 35 hertz.

see hpf, you have it at 90 hertz.

that means you aint supposed to have any bass. your low pass is where you want the bass to cut from midbass, so turn that to 90. your high pass is used as a subsonic on this amp, so turn that to your port tuning, 32 hertz or so. that way it will play the freq's between that range, but your setting now it shouldnt be making ANY sound. do what i said and you will benefit from it. keep arguing and it will show this forum your lack of skillz.

when you have the high pass and low pass turned on, and set correctly, use the q boost to boost the freq's between the 2 settings.

what deck are you running? What is the preout voltage on it? That could also be the problem.

just did big 3... but now i prolly need to get an new alternator.... if i am running it at 2500w at 1 ohm and it doesnt have the power to get there, would it run as good as my 1000w hifonics if i put it a 4 ohm load at 1200w with my subs? im just not getting any output at 1 ohm... i dont know what the deal is... they move... but no output... any suggestions?
I take it the hifonics was a 2channel ab? Orion should quite a bit more efficent. Enough so to make double the power off the same electrical system, dunno bout that one.

just another way to say it

lpf=low pass filter=lets frequencies below the set frequency pass while cutting away from frequencies above the set frequency

HPF=high pass filter=lets frequencies above set frequency to pass while cutting from those below

Hence the reason you want your lpf higher than your hpf

Dunno what was mentioned before but lpf around 80 and hpf around 30

And I'd also second lis

yep sub level is at +15 like it always is... and equalizer is set to flat i assume that is how it is sposed to be...... ok and hccafan and NhuslaR sorry im kinda being a dick about stuff but i just dropped some majpr cash on this badboy, wiring, distros, fuse blocks and all that shit as an upgrade... and that isnt what im getting and i am getting frustrated... my apologies

let us know what your results are. take a digital camera out and take pics of both sides of the amp. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif i want to see your settings and to make sure you have everything going in right.
