Orion 2500d, looking for 2 15"s and box, What should I go with?

I'm goin to be going with 2 15"s and a custom ported box for my blazer. Wanna know what 15"s I could go with that are REASONABLY priced, and will outpound my old setup (1200d, 2 12" sx's, prefab box). Even if the subs arent as good, I kno the custom box will help it immensley. Box is going to be about $200... So lookin to get 2 15"s around $300... IF thats even possible with them being decent.

Name the subs, price, and how I should set the gain with the 2500d so i dont blow them. DONT want to buy off the internet so I kno I will be getting a diff price from the dealer. Just had some bad experience with internet deals...

The new kicker cvx sound really good with good power to them. Are you looking for $300 a piece or all together.

you can go with some power bass subs the xtremes or the sql's. I got a set of 4 of them for someone in rochester off here and he is very happy with them the sql's. I have tried the pb's and personaly they were nice and the price is great on them.

Or you can trie to get ahole of 2 dd3515's. Or just run one 15 or 18

I bought 2 15"s from a audio shop for $160...so what if they were used, all that means is they're already broke in.

Speaking of those 4 15's he has them for sale on here, hit him up i am sure he even has the box and your local to him because he worked out at that install shop in webster.

Up to $300 a piece for subs, planning on spendnig 150-200 for the box. Likin the L7's havent heard them in person tho and I see a lot of them being resold the 06' versions... whats up with that??

i dont even wanna know how loud the 06 L7s get haha

if you are going for three hundred a peice maybe some 15s type-rs but hell for like 250 total you could get some 12s new off of ebay. but i guess no internet dealers for you, whats wrong with internet dealers im sure there are many people on this forum that had bad expericence with reg. dealers and it cost them a shyt load of money on top of that.

Almost ANYTHING is going to be louder.

You powered them with less than half the rated RMS, and ran them in a prefab enclosure. You would find it hard to beat the output in the same power range if they were setup up properly.

I will deal with the internet but im just pissed my amps blew and i have to go around ****ing with the shipping and the 3 week wait period and all that ****... I guess i could go with internet again bbut I just dont want **** mesing up again. I wan smoething thats gonna last.

u probably ran the ap at full throttle, ur setup seemed to not be setup correctly to me
