I would go with one just to save space and you get that extra 100w rms power to it. I prefer having the two though, i think it looks better

You should use the 1200s so that you can get full power at 2 ohm.

I Believe HCCAFan has used ones with 1 yr warranty for only $200

and brand new ones with 1 year warranty for $300

Should be instructions, some amps are different then others in the way they prefer you to strap. Most though just require a jumper and combining rca's.
