Orientation advice please, camaro

I haven't decided yet whether or not I want to get extravagant with the design of my system or just buy a custom box that drops in the well. What I'm curious about, is what, if any, orientations I should avoid in the back of this car for my subs. I've read a little about cancelation from waves bouncing back on themselves out of sync. If this is an actual concern I'd like to prevent it in the design phase rather than finding out the hard way. I'm going to have either 1 or 2 subs.

Would something like this work, or should I be taking advantage of the hatch window to bounce the wave to the front of the car? Does it even matter with sub frequencies?

I like the look or exposing the rear of the sub, but i'm more concerned about performance.

I had a 89 camaro and a 97 *****-am. I had 2 twelves in a sealed box that dropped in the well, and it was loud as hell. I had 1 twelve firing off the glass and that was loud as hell. Also 2 twelves firing off the glass. also very loud. Its not hard to be very loud to the ear in f-bodys. Any of these combo's worked in both cars. Good luck
