Optima's Red Top > Yellow Top?????

Well, I'm too lazy to search for you, but the summary of his post was that deep cycle batteries typically have a much slower rise time (much slower to respond to current demands) and have a higher internal resistance than regular batteries.
meaning.............................?

t3h buump for Jmac:up2somet:

thats what i was thinking, but if worse comes to worse and i do decide to play it with the car off ill just run like 2-3 redtops i should be fine right?

UPDATE: after searching the web for a little i found this the description looks great i might have to try the PC925 model

Red top is more is less of a deep cycle so if you never run your system with your car off a red top is better for you, plus they have a 3 yr warranty over the yellow tops 1 year. Yellow is meant for use when your car is off. Go red. I got one and its awesome. Either way, buy an optima at costco and when your warranty is almost up, bring it back and they will give you a new one NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Costco is LEGIT lol

Ive always heard that.

Yellow tops if your runnign stereo and stuff with the car off

Red top for starting and general usage.

Never really found out the reason WHY. Or which is truly better.

I have a redtop under my hood. I'll only be pushing sub 2k Watts so hopefully it's enough.

Paid $119 at sears
