Optima Battery too big

i have a acura rsx type s.. my battery under the hood is so small...so i figure i get the optima red or yellow top to replace it...but i think it will b too big...n i cant put it in the car....aint got no space..any ideas

call optima and they will tell you what model is right for your car....

funny thing is I called the local "nice stereo shop" and asked about an Optima D35 yellow top and the guy said "they only make one yellow top, it goes for all cars" biggest dumbass ever. they make many many different models for different cars. I now remember why I never have them do anything anymore or listen to their advice.

Ya, my redtop is physically too small to fit in my car's factory brackets, i had to get new ones at advance, needless to say they were ready for me, in advance.

yeah when i got mine i told them i wanted 5 group 31 yellow tops and you see what they ordered me instead. they didnt even know till i told them i wasn't paying that much for these.

thats a dealer suggested retail price what a dealer sells it for can be different. most hondas are group 34 which would be around our 1400 size.

one of the shops i had one of my earlier systems installed at i had to always "forget" my face plate at home or they would mess with all my gains and settings everytime i droppped it by there. not to be arguementitive but there are quite a few people who will tell you that...higher up on the food chain of system building and sound quality.

IIRC its a group 51 that fits for honda and acura.

Thats the one you want.
