**Made a mistake in title, SA-10 or Elemental Design e5.10

I've been searching for a new subwoofer. Was going to do 2 SA-8s, but my small scion xa wont allow a box big enough to really handle them. I've done my research and asked around, I am stuck on these two. Either will go in a 1.5 cube ported box.

Any suggestions? Never used either of these brands. Leaning more towards SA, have not read anything bad about them.

BTW, I am looking more for SQ.

I meant to get back to you, the last 3 days I worked 3, 12 hour shifts in a row so I had no time to come on my computer those days. I looked at my trunk again, and honestly at max, I can do..

23 1/4 width

10.5 height

16 depth

and to get that, I would have to have the subs firing up, because the box is going to be touching the hatchback trunk, and backseat. Since its a hatchback, I had a custom rear deck built that I installed component 6X9's in. Because of this, from the floor to the bottom of the speakers, is about 12.5 inches.

With a single 10, I can design a box to the exact measurements it needs which I would think.. would be the better route but im not all to smart with car audio.

I would say a sealed 10 or 12" will be your best option. Maybe do some raised logos to make it look more "nice/custom" looking.

Haha I saw you say that in my other thread about someone wanting SA Logos raised on the box. I'd love to see a pic of it! If it looks good, I'd get you to make me one!

Do you not believe me, or do you just want to see it lol. Its night-time now, I can take a pic tomorrow and post it if you really want. It's just a basic rear deck carpetted to match my seats that fits perfectly in my trunk and somehow manages to hold in place with the side frames of the car. Paid 200 for a local car audio place to build it.

From what I have saw; I didn't think the SA subs like sealed but I could be wrong.

As for raised logos, if you want some pics of what they look like send me your email.

Not to sure what I got already up loaded but I will check in a sec..I think the FI logo on that sealed box and maybe an AQ logo...
