Opinions on this amp?

The amp does 2700 rms. Price is ok. We sell them in our store retail for $312.50. So you may want to check out your local dealers before your risk an ebay purchase. That way if you have a problem you can drive over to your local audio shop for warranty instead of trying to contact somebody on ebay. Anyway it is a decent amp that puts out some power.

150 amps of fusing, 2700 watts RMS.... something doesn't jive!

Assuming 100% efficiency and a perfect 14.4 volts: 150 x 14.4 = 2,160 watts

Not to mention that you are going to lose at least 20% in efficiency. Yep, 2700 watts RMS is a wee bit optimistic.

ETA: I have dealt with Sonic Electronix on multiple occasions and even though they are not always an authorized dealer of what they sale, I have yet to encounter any problems. Then again, if you can get it locally for the price that R/T Pimp said, it may be worth it to spend a few extra $$ to buy locally. Most of my local shops are MSRP (or even higher) jack holes therefore they are totally useless to me.
