Opinions on the Memphis M3 12"

I just wanna get you fellas thoughts on the Memphis M3 12". A local audio shop manager speaks very highly of this sub. Don't know if he's just tryin to make a sell or what. I'm lookin to get a single sub and its goin in a cad coupe deville in a sealed box. Not lookin for spl. This is my daily, I want sq 1st and then I want it to get loud. Is this sub worth my time?

Lol their just trying to make a sale, my local shop does the same too me.. If you want SQ get the Memphis M1, had it for awhile wish I never got rid of it.

Local Memphis Shops pretty much shoots down any name brand sub you throw at them, I was talking to them about AQ HDC3 and he kept saying "some guy in the shop came in yesterday and it blew off 800w" at that time I was laughing while leaving

M3's are not that great for SQ...can get loud and a great woofer for the money, just not the best sounding.

I ran 2 of these for about a year and was impressed with them on a lot of aspects, just felt that they lacked SQ

Is the M1 a better SQ woofer than the M3

shop owners love memphis.... kinda the reason my last 3 subs have bin memphis. im sure they are way better subs out there but ive never bin disappointed by any of them.
