Hey!

Nice to meet you all I’v been reading these forums for a while and felt like I needed to post a question…

Let me explain my sound system 1st…

A 96 Nissan Maxima

I use an eclipse 3445 HU 3preouts mp3s nothing to fancy

And the Xover upgraded to a SatNet 560i

Powered by a kenwood 4chan bridged that gives 165rms x2 @ 4

For Subs I have 2 12 JL W1v2 getting 150rms each @ 4 from a fosgate amp.

Now here is my question what can I do to make my front sound stage sound louder and better? I do have Boston Acoustic Pro Series 6.5 speakers which are a few years old I could throw in. but I don’t know if they would be any better…also I could/should deaden the doors I hear that would help a lot with midbass response which I feel I am lacking a little.

I currently have by subs crossed over around 100hz is that really to high and should I lower it to around 60?

any thought or comments on what I have and what upgrades anyone would recommend? I guess I was thinking I should upgrade the headunit to a cd5000…i dunno what do you guys think?

last time i post all messed up

i guess what i am asking is should i get those CDT image enhancement tweeters?

any other suggestions on what to do to make it sound clearer and just over all quality of it...

I like that setup, its not completely geared towards crazy loud. I think I could fit those subs under my back seat too... they're only like 5" deep

Definitely put some sound deadening in the doors. I noticed a significant improvement in sound after doing this.

Not sure on the additional tweets. What is it specifically about the CDT's sound that you don't like?

You'll notice a huge differene in your midbass response if you deaden the doors. Night and day.
