I've come up with a couple options for my next car audio project. Wondering if any of you guys could throw me some opinions on this.
Equipment on hand:
RF851X 4ch; 110x4@4, 215x4@2, 425x2@4(B)
Premier 880PRS
CDT CL-61 6.5 comps
2 PG Titanium 15's SVC, 4ohm each. (sealed)
Car: 92 Honda Civic LX 4dr
Option 1: Purchase a Arb TM kit, or some Dayton Refs for a active setup.

Run 4chan amp to active front stage, Purchase a PG1200.1 or MD2 for 1 sub.
Option 2: Purchase a high quality set of comps (eg. Boston Pro's). Run them off one half of 4chan, bridge 1 sub off the other half. This would allow me to add rear stage if needed for extra output, and at least temporarily negate the need for a $300 sub amp.
My main goal is a reasonably loud SQ setup. My current setup is CDT fronstage, half of 4chan, and 2 subs run in series on other half of 4chan. My RF1001bd fried about 8 output transistors off the power coil due to a ground problem. I'm currently evaluating whether or not it is worth fixing.
As is, acceptable levels of bass can be achieved. Biggest issue is getting the front stage loud and clear enough without clipping the amp, or distorting the speakers. I have a set of old Audiobahn comps in the rear stage for extra output. General SQ is good, considering the lack of any deadening and some shitty Audiobahn comps. Looking to take a step up. Either of the options mentioned above would utilize good use of sound deadening. Currently I have about $300 on hand to play around with at this paticular point in the month, as well as some sound deadener.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
