Opinions on 5 channel amps?

I'm currently looking at 5-channel amps that do 4X50rms to the speakers and 200-300 to the sub. Hoping to spend $200-250 but could go as high as $300. What's are my best options and why?

What ohm load are your subs or sub? I would go with a Memphis lil belle if you are running your sub or subs at 2 ohm stable

My speakers are all 4Ω so the 4X50 has to be the same. On the sub channel, I could go 2Ω or 4Ω since I haven't bought the amp or sub yet but was thinking probably 4Ω since most of the subs I've looked at are 4Ω. I'm looking at doing a compact sub (probably an 8) in the trunk. Something like the JL Audio CP108LG-W3v3.

one does 150@4Ω or 300@2Ω, the other does 200@4Ω or 400x2Ω

I would say JL but they are a little more pricey...

I would buy this one:

JBL GTO-5EZ 5-Channel GTO Series Class AB/D Car Amplifer

Class A/B for the front 4 and Class D for the sub channel, pretty good output for the sub too. Its also apparently very easy to set the gains on these, would like to try it out.

Your best option is an Eclipse XA5000 if you can find one.

Check out the Kenwood excelon x700-5...its a good amp for the price
