Opinions needed...

I'm new when it comes to car audio stuff. I don't know anything about it at all. There are a few things that I wanted to get but I figured I would come here first and get some input. I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and I want to get a DVD/monitor unit. I was lookin at getting the Alpine IVA-D300.

I plan on hooking up a PS2 and an Xbox up to the unit. I was wondering if it would be possible to hook both up at the same time and if not what other units can I do that with. Also I was wondering, If I wanted to listen to music and play video games at the same time if that would be possible. Like I would put a CD in the unit and have that audio play and then put a game in my Xbox and have that video be on the screen with the cd audio playing. I found the Alpine brand new on ebay for under $1100. That is the most I am willing to pay for the unit. Are there any other units for under that price that have all the stuff I want?

I was also thinking about getting this sub/box combo too. It's the Kicker Solo-Baric 04VS12L7.

I want to have decently loud bass and pretty good sound quality. I was just wondering if this would do the job. Does anyone know how this sounds? Also does anyone have any other opinions on boxes for around that price range.

Alpines are nice look into kenwood to though they have some good stuff. I know you can hook one up but dont know if can do to there prob is away

yea there's always a way... its just sometimes it means that you might have to spend more $

ya prob not too much more money tho...does anyone else have any opinions on the alpine or the kicker box
