Only one subwoofer preout?

Im helping my buddy put a system in his ranger. He went ahead and got a jensen vm9312 because he wanted a touch screen for cheap (i told him you get what you pay for) . Anyways this unit only has one rca output for the subwoofer. Does that mean i should use a y-splitter or can i just use the preout for the rear channels? Thanks

It wouldn't be true stereo. What I meant was running them on a 2ch amp.
Well I'm in the same issue as you are, since my JVC double din unit also has a single RCA sub output, and I will be running my subs off a bridged two channel amp.

I will be using a Y adapter to regular RCA cables, and that should do the trick.
