Only mustang i would ever own

its a shame it wasnt kept original
X2 I am a ford guy through and through and love the way the Eleanor car looks and all and love what it has done as a revival for classic mustangs and all. BUT hacking up a documented GT-350 to make some "hot rod" is messed up. go get a standard fastback or a 6 cylinder car and do your work on but don't hack up a legit Rare performance car. To me its a absolute shame to see these cars get built specially if they are based of a numbers matching documented Shelby or rare packaged Mustang.

And the other thing that bugs me, is all the people who now thinks that a 67 Mustang Shelby GT-500 even remotely resembled the "Eleanor".

The real deal

It may not be as pretty but at least it is a piece of automotive history compared to this Eleanor car which I can't understand why it would be called a GT-500 anyways when it is just a Hot Rod based off a Shelby GT-500. Then again maybe I am just too much of a purist when it comes to rare and valuable automobiles.

good luck finding a yenko camaro,nova,or a chevelle{yes there wer a nova and a chevelle} since they weren't yenkos from the factory. still one of the more sought after muscle cars! i'm a mustang guy and my dad is a mopar guy{das car 70 cuda with a 440}

Even though I'm a Chevy guy, I would own that Mustang in a heartbeat!

*edit* I agree though - I'd rather see a non-#'s matching car get chopped up and turned into something like this. The end result is awesome...but do it something non numbers matching.

Thats a very nice car, but the problem is that I'd be to afraid to drive it for fear of fcking something up. I'll stick to my tbird thanks! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'd rather have Yenko Camaro..... but I'm a Chevy guy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
COPO ZL1 camaro with the all aluminum 427 big block ftw. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Eleanor is a bit played out, IMO. Still a good looking car, but it was cool when it was a RARE car.

definately a gorgeous mustang. I'm not a huge mustang fan, but i do like the looks of the new ones that just came out. i was looking at them but too expensive.
