one speaker what to use? help!

ok, where my arm rest is in my back seat im going to make a fiberglass enclosure, ill have about 4-maybe 6 or 7 inches deep to work with and maybe 6-9 inches wide to work with what kind of speaker should i put there? around 75 bucks or so

Well #1 you aren't gonna find anything good ( sub wise ) at 6 1/2. The reason for this being is that the less cone area you have the harder it is to make bass notes. Maybe a mid but i personally wouldn't add in a single mid as it would more than likely screw up the channel separation ( audibly ). I would just let that space be. Now if you had maybe 12+ inches of width room you could do something with that. But my advice is to save yourself some trouble and not put anything there, save that space for something else.

i just want something to go there, it dont even have to sound that good, i was also thinking maybe put my 2 6x 9s there

Why not put a screen there or something. It'd sound better than the 6X9's

I just letting you know it would be a waste to put 6x9's in a box. There are no 6 1/2 subs. And you might as well save that space for something important... Like a disk changer or something.

the JL 6w0 is classified as a subwoofer. if you are wanting one there, thats exactly what the 6w0 was made for. to fit nearly anywhere. in other words........ limitless possibilities.
