i currently own a old hd315. right now one 15 is ok due to the space i have. but im getting a blazer soon and i am wondering how mixing one onld hd315 and one new hdc315 would work out. would i need two diffrent boxes??

Are they basically the same? I really dont know, check the specs and see if they are the same. The specs may call for completely different boxes, because they are different subs. In that case no, dont mix them. Itd be like mixing...well, two different subs.
