Using winISD, 3ft^3 tuned to 40hz has a nice sized peak at 43hz. For a flat response 2ft^3 tuned to 35hz looks good. If you're going more for spl, the 1508 is a solid sub.

I have my box tuned to 35hz, and they are very nice, though I would like to tune alittle lower. They are very accurate imo, and sound great on everything from the lows, in chopped and screwed stuff, to higher stuff, like the hardcore and metal i listen to.

The only thing is, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, if you are looking to wire your sundown at 1 ohm, you'll need to look elsewere because the dd are all svc 4, so they will only wire to 2ohm, unless you are going to look for 4 of them.

so yeah....so sum things up if anyone new is in here...

Sundown 1500D wired to 1 ohm (1500+ watts)

2 8's.....midway between SQ and SPL...

2 AA assassins (NEW)

or 2 DD 1508's (USED)

ported tuned somewhere in the mid to low 30's

well that solves that....

now the question is....can i throw all 1500+ at the assassins cause thats what id like to be able to do.

i'll agree with this, or a tc1000 if you can find them.

As for the assasins, I really don't know, I have never used them, nor heard them personally.
