Using winISD, 3ft^3 tuned to 40hz has a nice sized peak at 43hz. For a flat response 2ft^3 tuned to 35hz looks good. If you're going more for spl, the 1508 is a solid sub.what about 4 of the AA's what box would they shine in going more for spl
I have my box tuned to 35hz, and they are very nice, though I would like to tune alittle lower. They are very accurate imo, and sound great on everything from the lows, in chopped and screwed stuff, to higher stuff, like the hardcore and metal i listen to.
The only thing is, as I mentioned earlier in the thread, if you are looking to wire your sundown at 1 ohm, you'll need to look elsewere because the dd are all svc 4, so they will only wire to 2ohm, unless you are going to look for 4 of them.
i'll agree with this, or a tc1000 if you can find them.be better to get the rli's imo
