one 12 SPL

Is this sealed on the dash? Sounds a lot like my first metered setup. I had a 2510 on ~ 1200w. Did 141@41hz (outlaw) from the trunk of my Lexus. I haven't checked up since. Lol.

And hispls is right. They key to a good 30sec avg score is picking the right song. They have a similar class in USACi called "street beat." But they have a special disk to use. It's the same "song" just at different frequencies. It's a super constant bass track. Virtually zero breaks in the bass line.

Download '''throw it up" by lil jon, it has a pretty much uninterrupted 45hz note.
Get to the show early next weekend and we can find a good track for you to use.
We must be listening to different versions of throw it up, because there are 3 different frequencies in that. Push dat hoe by lil jon has a very constant 44hz (iirc) note that would work well, however.

I believe there are multiple "versions". Whatever one I pirated is 45hz protty much uninterrupted.

This track is right around there as well and works nicely for 30sec averages:

What they do in TNESPL and NESPL is what they call "sealed at the dash" FIY

so i had it metered today with a term lab on the windsheild, my car peaks at 46htz. best on tones was 135db, but when we did music for rookie class it was only 118. i wastold that in the rookie class they average the whole 30 seconds of music to determine the scoreI just really dont understand much about competeing and how someone can have a car that does 150 on music in the trunk - 32db louder than my car seems unrealistic.

thanks for any help

the org i compete in is average on music. at 46hz i would try: the song beamer benz bentley-llyod banks(46hz)... and i would try firing the port into the car instead, firing this way should bring you up a bit. my wifey's daily car is a ford focus trunk setup firing forward into cabin, has stock everything, no xtra batteries, a single kicker L7 sqaure, and a kicker zx1000.1, and she competed a few times as well. she's able to pull 143db average on music with the it being hot inside her car, and 144+db average on music by running her AC, and bringing the temperature down in her car. i could probly make hers louder by sealin the trunk off but she is happy the way it is. so i would try firing forward that would probly gain you a bit
