SWR-1241D 4Ω+4Ω - That's what it says on the back of my sub speakers. I'm very new to all of this and am not very knowledgeable.

I need an amp to push these speakers. Not looking for crazy bass. Just some light/moderate bumping.

What is a low cost amp that will get the job done?

I was looking at AudioPipe APCL15001D High Power Mono 1500 Watt Max Class D Car Amplifier or Sony XM-GS100 GS Series Class D Subwoofer Amplifier. More towards the sony because I can get them for cheap but I'm not sure if it will get the job done.

Thank you in advance.

If you have d4 ohm woofers you either need a mono block 1ohm stable amp or a big 2channel 2ohm stable amp...

That Sony would not be good unless you get two of them and each woofer gets it own amp. Other wise that audiopipe 1500 mono block will be better.

the audiopipe will be a better amp, but id honestly recommend a cab1600.1 instead. if your budget is around 300-400 you can get a very nice used amp that will get you 2kw

but you need to factor in the cost for wire and batteries, maybe even an alternator

How much can you afford including the power cables the amp will require.
I'm looking to spend 100-150 for an amp. I already have the wiring installed in my car. I'm replacing an amp I bought used that blew after a year and a half of use. The amp I was using was an Infinity Reference 611a.

Ya I'm not trying to go all in for this. I'm on a very tight budget and just want something so they can run. Nothing outstanding, but nothing garbage. I'm very rookie when it comes to car systems, etc.

Any of the China clones would be solid IMHO...

PPI P1000.4

Soundstream TN1.1200D

NVX JAD1200.1

Whichever you find cheaper since they're pretty much the same amp.

Thank you guys very much. I know it is limiting, I want to power these suckers but am strapped for cash at the moment. At the same time I want to get something that is decent and will last.
