on a bandpass, better to use round or slot port

I am building a 4th order. Is it better to use a slot port or a round port on the ported side? Any downside to either as long as port is the correct size? I was leading toward round port but was told slot port would be better about not getting port noise.

One advantage to a slot port over a round port is that it provides additional bracing, and they're easier to make. I'd go with a slot.
