2005 *lol* 12" mids were never in my vocabulary in competition or not. Besides that he calls it "midder bass"
I chose a 5 channel for much the same reason as Max, I have two kids, no room for multiple amps in the tc and I wanted to get away from a class d sub amp "not that there is anything wrong with them, just my personal choice". If you understood the functions of this amp and features / what it is capable of in the size chassis it is in, then you would understand why it looks so "complex" If you understood curcuit board design which you OBVIOUSLY do not, there is... an art to circuit board layout and function. I happen to find good designs a "work of art". DLS does not make the best I have seen, but they are up there compared to most all other companies I would choose for myself. You have to take into consideration noise, heat, size, reliability... all kinds of factors. I think DLS did a heck of a job cramming killer crossover features and 5 channels capable of 1000wrms with a 1 ohm stable class a/b amp into a pretty compact chassis and still made it look good. Not an easy task to make happen.
Again your only 18 years old or 15, not sure... but the simple fact is you need to learn tons more about a subject before you babble on like your an expert. I can pretty much guarantee any system you build with your 12" midder bass drivers will never win any sq competition or even really sound that good, in fact most likley will sound like crap because from what you say, it shows you have a large lack of knowledge when it comes to setting up an audio system and it's function. You have dodged everyone elses including my own questions because you lack the knowledge to answer them with any kind of thought out answer, yet you keep talking and talking like you have a clue.
Also please tell me what quality built PAIR of amps on the market today that have the same features as the a7... that are all class a/b design which cost less than the $500 I shelled out which you think is a rip off. You need to find a 4 channel capable of 100wpc rms with all the crossover features of the a7 and a 1 ohm stable monoblock class a/b that will put out 600rms clean. Let me know what you come up with, who knows you might suprise me haha. I know what I needed and the a7 is a 100% dead fit for me even if I paid retail for it which I did not.
