ok you just confused me lol. maybe i got my terminaology wrong but i was thinking the "motor" is the component with the voice coil attached. and that is the moving part.the motor is considered to be the top plate, bottom plate and magnet slugs all together...(the lower half of the speaker not includeing the coil)

yeah i know, lol, i realized that it didnt really pertain to your statement after i posted it but i was too lazy to fix it. ok, if his sub is only going UP, then perhaps hes got it on a car battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif there thats better.even if he was using a wall socket....thats still AC voltage...constantly reversing polarity...something to the equivalent of 5000W and a 60hz tone or something like that
so does the motor include the coil too? cause the coil moves while the magnet doesnt...
much better....a car battery is a DC voltage sourceyeah i know, lol, i realized that it didnt really pertain to your statement after i posted it but i was too lazy to fix it. ok, if his sub is only going UP, then perhaps hes got it on a car battery //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif there thats better.
