well guys i recently got an chance to Finish my Box for my 2 18" RE SX's and all i can say is OMFG!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif! this shit is the loudest SYSTEM ive owned BY FAR! im very shocked that the SX's get this loud! it WAY louder than my previous Setup 4 15" Kicker L5's/16cube box 290sqin port tuned to 37hz. with the same amp power too! my current box is 17.8cubes after all displacement with 118.63sqin of port tuned to 26hz. the box is on the big side and is tuned dumb low but the upper bass is still SICK! very punchy bass! im here to say that I WILL NEVER GO with SMALLER subs! 18's ftmfw!

i actually like the inverted look, plus i see some benefits from it. better cooling for the subs when i have the windows down, and i can smell the subs before anything happens im getting another 4000.1 i cant wait!

ill put my brahmas up against them on a 300 dollar power acoustic amp... i just dont see how its loud when the note is firing into the box and cant really preasurize the cab... ive seen this for a show vehicle, but do you see any spl drags do this? no, you dont

I think they look good inverted. I notice minimal to no sound change from inverted to regular.

thanks man and yes it is ungodly loud i just cant see how the Phuck people like meade take 4 18's and 20kws shit this setup is painful its hard to breathe now i cant imagine meade truck!

noob. Bass isnt a directional sound. Also if the cone shoots notes forward, why have a ported box? Whats the port do? His subs would own yours.
