try it... magnet retains a charge of what ever its polarity, if you switch the subs wires out of phase, it will attract or push away from the motor... the cones first movment was attracting to the motor polarity instead of outwards... in the wrong direction of what it was intended for... again try it

Magnets have poles...woot you finally got one right...and the voice coils acts as an electromagnet with is attracted and repelled depending on the polarity of the signal...depending on the signal's frequency.....the sub moves in AND out at a certain speed... unless you put DC into it which it will the go one way and stay one way...most commonly seen by speakers as a cliped signal

so are you standing by your statement that your subs only moved into the box and not out?

no idea john if ur talking about my box peak freq im guessing around 34-8hz somewhere im not sure

and the tahoe itself its in the 40s i know that much havent done much testing at all.
