do i feel compelled or the need to? Nope. I guess I'm confident and secure enough with my knowledge, experience, and mainly audio equipment, that I am happy and satisfied.... I don't feel the need to bring others down to make myself feel validated.
heck, now that i know what you wannabees are like, I'm just gonna go startup my own speaker company. Just need to come up with a name that appeals to elitist fake-audiophiles.... maybe something like Sound Design or SQ Audio. Then i just need to design a rather plain, generic looking woofer with dual voice coils and a black composite cone w/ my cool looking company logo strategically placed on it.
Then i'll focus on the website. Lots of jargon about how much R&D went into producing my speakers for true hardcore audiophile enthusiasts. Yet still at reasonable prices. I'll passive-aggressively poke fun at the brand names with comments like "don't pay big bucks for the big names when you can get more bang for you buck with SQ Audio".
I'll then hire one person each with a scion tc, rsx, civic, gti, etc.. to infiltrate the forums and start spreading the word about my awesome new company. I'll tell them to just go into every audio thread and trash the name-brands, and then recommend they try out our brand. And of course, since these noobs have no idea what to listen for, even when they hear our modest sounding speakers, they'll be so enthralled with the fact that they got the "new, cutting edge technology from the up-and-coming SQ Audio", so they can say " I was one of the first people to have SQ Audio subs."
All you wannabees and noobs will snatch up my products like kids in a candy store.
