Ok Here is the deal. I have a 1996 Pontiac Grand AM. The backseat dosent fold down and I have about 4 cubic feet to work with. I will have a sundown 1500 for the power. I want to know what you think will sound the best and loudest in the trunk.

Also if you have a trunk setup could you tell me what you are running and what your highest DB was with that setup Thanks

2 12' Kicker CVR Dual2

3 10" Kicker CVR Dual2

2 10" MTX 6000 dual4

2 10" Kove armaggedons dual4

2 12" Kicker CompVR (1999) Single 4ohm

15' Kicker solo-baric (round) single 8ohm

15' Re XXX 06 Dual 2ohm

15" Crossfire BMF 1528 dual 4

2 12' kicker comp (2003) single 4ohm

15" Kicker CompVR (1999) 4ohm

Thanks alot

I would agree that the re xxx is the loudest and it actually sounds good whereas the solo x sounds like mud... but the rms for a 15" XXX is 2000W so you might want some more power

x2 tha XXX will want more, but also depends largely onthe install/ box u are going to use

I've got a '98 grand am and its an easy fit to make the back seat removeable/flip down. On the front of the bottom of the seat, there's two bolts, takes those out, and you'll be able to remove the bottom seat. The back cousin has loops going around the seatbelt bolts, just take those out (which are insanely loc-tite'd, and an odd torx size, but a flat blade bit and an impact wrench took mine out), and the back seat will slide UP, and then come out. You can then put the bolts back in, and put the bottom part back in. All you need to do after that is just pull up on the back seat to get the clips out, and its all good.

Taking the seat out was about the only way your going to get a 4+ cube enclosure in the **** trunks with the way the openings are...
