Well.... I did a trade with a nice gentelman on this forum, an amp and a small amount of cash for a custom enclosure.
Anyway, I shipped my stuff to him, he shipped his stuff to me, only, DHL is holding my box 2 states away from me in Maryland! I live in WV, in the mountains, they claim i live in a rural area (true) but they have delivered to me plenty of times in the past.
What I am thinking now is, they just refuse to deliver to me. I had 2 issues with them prior to this current shipment.
I was unable to print labels at work when I scheduled pick ups for 2 different items I sold on the forums, so, when the driver arrived for the pickup, I had to fill out hand written labels.
Both times the driver asked how I wanted them shipped, ground, air or next day. I told the driver I wanted ground as that was the cheapest method.
Well, apparently, the driver felt next day was better and entered them both as next day, I paid with my CC and didnt even know they overcharged me until I got my bill.
I called and complained about being overcharged, I informed them that their driver chose to charge me for next day after I told him I wanted GROUND!
So I told them that they needed to refund me the difference, to which they did. Ever since then, I have had issues with the last 2 items that were shipped through DHL to me.
Right now, my box is just sitting in the warehouse in MD, why, I can not figure, I can only assume that they refuse to deliver it to me!
I have called them twice and asked wht the hold up is, and the original shipper called as well, it was supposed to be dropped off on Friday, but it didnt show.
I am very VERY displeased with DHL's service, I will never accept delivery from them or ship through them again period!
From now on, I will make all trades and anything I buy, clear to the shipper that I will not accept an item if they plan to ship it to me through DHL!
I have had much better service through Fedex, UPS, and hell, even USPS (Even though they "Lost" my Konaki motor) .
After/If I ever get my box, I am calling to complain about their terrible service!
I will end this rant simply by saying....... F**K DHL!
