I've been out of car audio for about 3-4 years now and finally have a vehicle I can put a sub in. I'm looking for something I've never owned before, and my budget is right around $150 for a single sub.

Parameters:

Going into a 1995 GTI hatchback

Daily driver, playing music

Ported box

Power doesn't really matter cause I'll buy an amp to suit it

Looking to do low 140's spl wise

Needs to be high quality SQ, drop down to 30ish hz when I want it to

Stuff I've owned: 2004 Type-R

SI Mag

FI-Q

Infinity Reference

CVR

IDQ

Dayton Quattro

Ascendant Audio Assassin

Kicker L7

Dayton Titanic MKIII

I know my budget is quite limiting but I want that feeling of not being able to breathe when the bass hits.
