old soundstream wont power speakers

i have an old soundstream MC 140 that a friend gave to me. he told me it had worked about half a year ago in a truck that he bought. Ill plug everything in and it powers on but i dont get any sound out of the speakers. its wired correctly and all the wires were fine. So i really dont know whats wrong. here are some pics of it.

everything seems to look ok so any help would be appreciated.

P.S. there is a green gunk in the negative terminals but i cleaned it out and still no luck

Did you plug in the RCA's???

yes... and they are already all tested and work.

Check the speaker terminals for AC voltage. If you have none, the amp is bad or the RCA's or the Pre outs.
