Old Skool amps comparison... Alpine V12's vs Rockford Fosgate's

hey i always wanted to know what do you guys think of each one of these... they run for about the same price here...

i have 2 old skool Alpine V12 (one is year 2000 i think and the other 1997 meh thinks heh) amps and i want to know how they perform compared to the fosgates of the same age... i barely know older fosgate amps, so ill leave it to the folks here who knows them better and heard both to compare...

which one has better SQ and which had more power than advertised?

i also heard the old alpine v12 line was very well criticized oposed to the newer ones, why is that?

I would have to go with Rockford. Alpine has put out some of the best heads out there but the amps never really had the *** kicking reputation that Rockford had.

Old skool V12's are great amps but not as great as rockford amps.

And older V12's amps are better than the new ones... they were underrated and they were more reliable than the new ones.

Actualy, the newer V12 are under rated aswell...

i ran a v12 (900rms) for about a year long time ago, good amp, nice features clean sound,no problems no complaints.

oh the "tiny" MRV-1507??? do you have pics of it?

thats the amp i've been willing to afford, how much does one go for in US?

i dont see any other with such good bang/buck relation as great as this one, besides it has the Alpine quality... well maybe if MTX 1501d has good quality it could be another alternative, but i think it's too strong for my taste of bass hehe
