Old school yet new school L7

Well, had a customer swing by today and ordered an enclosure. Dropped off on of his subs as well so I can ensure fitment and such. The subs he is using are the Credence square subs. If your not sure what that is, they were the original build house for kicker with the L7 first came to be. I will get some pics here in a few for everyone. Looks decent, just like an original L7 but with a different dust cap and a cork gasket. I should have the enclosure done this week and installed so hopefully I can let everyone know how well they do.

It still has the 10L7 stamp on it so I'm guessing what he has is an over run from years ago, not real sure yet.

Uploading them right now finally.

I will toss in a few of the enclosure as well. It is a basic MDF enclosure but with a birch front that will be stained to match the wood grain in his peterbilt.

Thanks. The picture of the staining makes it look off a bit I think. I'm just ready to see this in the customers semi mid week. Should sound pretty good. Running two of these 10s on about 800(ish)rms.

Not to be a wet blanket, but just looks like another sub that should have a round cone instead of a square one. The enclosure looks nice tho, as always.

I've got a suggestion for you. Try red transmission fluid as a box stain. We used it on some cedar and man it looks good IMO. May be worth a shot? And of course we poly'ed over for seal.

Cause I know where about 10 are that need to be reconed..
