Old school stroker questions

I am picking up 2 15" vega strokers and 1 18" stroker on Monday. I always wanted these and I know they can get loud and are really efficient but my question is if they are musical. I have heard they are spl beasts but how well do they handle the lows? I will probably run the 2 15"s on a ampere audio 3800.1 and sell or hold on to the 18. If you guys can give me your opinions on how they sound that would be great. I have other equipment that I can run and more than likely these wont be run daily. also how big of box would you recommend and tuned to what frequency.

I found cv recommends 3.5 cuft tuned to 36hz per driver. but I would still like to know what you guys think. any help would be appreciated
