Old School Soundstream

We've got an older Soundstream Rubicon 12" kicking around. It's rated at 600W RMS and I think 800W peak. Has anyone on here had one of those? How did it perform? I did a search but didn't come up with much. I'm not looking for any award winning bass, and since this is my first system, I'm not looking to enter any comps. Just something with a decent thump.

I guessing its the second series Rubicon R12-SQ? If so put it in a sealed 1.0 -1.2 with 550 -600 rms and your be happy.
