selling my 4-12" kicker comps and buying 2 of these 15"s. wondering if anyone had any experience with these subs. good or bad idea? also will be powered by SPL FX1-3000D 1700wrms at 1 ohm. lemme know what you think.

I owned the 12's. Paid $250 @ Summit racing for two. They were loud but were not good sounding. I've heard Memphis 15's and IMO they sound decent. I wouldn't buy the fubars, look for something a little bit better.

a combination i want it loud and clean but its going in a jeep so i'll have a lot of rattle anyway. my problem was with the 4-12"s i wasnt hitting the lows because of cancellation. so i'm getting 2-15"s now and want to be just as loud

I don't know much about anything above CompVR's but they seem like they'd get the job done. Maybe someone with more experience than me could help you out.

If you couldnt do it with 4 12's, what makes you think 2 15's will do it. 4 12's has more cone mass than 2 15's. Do what makes you happy!!

the way i had the 4-12"s in the back of my jeep i was getting a lot of cancellation i had them in 2 seperate boxes angled towards each other. plus it just took up too much space
