So..the power and ground are hardwired?

Nah it came that way. They are soldered and heat shrinked onto the terminals. I am not sure if that is from the factory or not, but it almost looks to good for an average joe to have done that. They are on there really nicely. I think that model might have come with them from the factory.

And when I say they are heat shrinked onto the terminals, I am not even sure if that would be the correct term, because I don't see any terminals. In any case, it works awesome, it is very easy to hook up either 4 gauge or 8 gauge wire to the existing wires.

Haha, it's not stolen, but it is interesting how they come up with that. But I could care less it doesn't affect the performance one bit, and has been going for years!

This was my first amp! Oh the memories, had it hooked up to a 12w7(lol) with only one channel giving it power. Thought it was the loudest thing ever.... oh heavenly lols.
