Thought I would post them up and see what you guys thought about them. A friend of mine is selling them and curious what yall thought these are worth

I laughed when I saw those. Im so glad I wasnt around for that...they might have been good in the day but now it seems like there are "superwoofers" around every corner. Seems like todays entry level equipment was yesterdays top dog stuff...

Buy them and keep it until you can sell it to old-school equipment collectors, last time i saw a woofer with square magnets was the woofers in the vintage Advent Model 1 home speakers, and they were from the 70s.

As far as performance the current offerings would run circles around these old-school woofers, they have limited excursion capability and usually foam surround that rots, none of them can take more than a few hundred watts and they usually don't sound very good when you play really low bass notes.

Those are best kept on a display shelf or a very moderate car/home audio install.

Had two 10s in a ford escort, hardest hitting speakers i've ever heard! Would absolutely trade my skars i have for those 10s back. Accordion surrounds on these, not foam... idk why that dudes talking about foam lol, and they handled the ppi art a1200 amp just fine. I'd run the heck outta them with zero worries if they were mine
