old school kicker zx1000 amp at pawn shop

I dont know much about the zx1000 older kicker amp but it doesnt have any controls..

How is this amp and is it worth 275.00 at a pawn shop.

well its a 'ZR1000' not a zx, but anyways those are great powerful amps. Retail on it back in the day was probably around $900. If I had extra dough I would buy it just to add to my old *** amp collection.

Edit- just found retail at around $1500

also some of the most inefficient amps i've read reviews about (the ZR line)... I think one of the magazines back in the day did a test and the efficiency of a lower model ZR amp was like sub 40%, thats pretty serious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

other than that, if you got the charging system and battery capacity to do the job, you got a hell of an amp!

well old amps were just like that, the technology just wasnt there. Wattage back then was just expensive, again the technology just wasnt there
