Going in an 04 Mazda 3 hatch. Parts just started coming in.

Big update, got most of my stuff in and have began the build. Just waiting on a bulk sound deadening kit and the power plug on one of the PPi PCx280's was 8 gauge so I have a 4 gauge one coming. First day was mostly removing the whole interior.

Next was getting the 0 gauge through the firewall. Thanks to Mike at Maximum Audio in Tampa for that nice tip on placement for my car. I should have taken a picture of the inside but the power wire comes through in the perfect spot on my car, the circle of steel on the inside firewall where it came in doesn't have a bracket over it or requires going through the rubber like insulation.
http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/5197/p1000480i.th.jpg' alt='p1000480i.th.jpg'> Then the 0 gauge from batt+ to alternator, batt- to chassis and inline fuse installed. A Southern engineered cable protector!

Picts of the fist sub enclosure, glued and screwed, sealed with Silicone2, sqf came in around .64. Loving the new Dremel too, those are the roundest circles I have ever cut in any material.

So I pulled an all niter and got most of the Dyna-mat installed that would allow me to start putting the cargo floor, back seats, and carpet in and wire it up. Also got the speaker wires ran for the doors which turned out to be the hardest part of the whole project! The front doors wire access dumps off behind the dash, and the rear doors electrical connector almost didn't have enough blank spots to punch through the speaker wire. The birds nest is just there to get it out of my way while I was laying the Dyna-mat.

36sf. of Dyna-mat so far, 40 more to go. Tonight I'll finish up the blank spots, hit the drivers side, and do the doors after I get the system going.

Had to keep the driver seat in so I could drive to work this morning, also got tired of no music at all for the commute, so I rigged one of the MB Quart to play of my HU just for today haha!

It's alive!! Got all the main cabin Dyna-mat done, wired up the amps, rear door coaxials, and one sub, other enclosure is still drying. Sounds crisp as hell already. First picture is of my upgraded chassis to block grounding strap. False floor going in. Nice and hidden! Doubles as a back massage!
