Old school 2000x vs AX-2000....?

I have a 09' AX-2000. Its been one of the best amps Ive ever had. Sounds great, has seemingly endless power, and is built like a tank.

I always see people talking of the old 2000x series. Willing to pay top dollar for one.

So, is the older 2000x series really that much better? I have not heard a SINGLE comment on the AX series on this site. Has anyone done a side by side comparison?

my 100Hc's are the the same as the 2000x's except for a different power suppy nd a few other minor differences....the board is identica

My 2000x is golden. Its real world rating is around 2600RMS. I would not sell it even if I was offered a check for $2500. Just like everything else in this world, they don't make them like they used to!
