OLD RF FANATIC Q component 6 3/4"

My brother gave me a pair of OLD school Rockford fosgate Fanatic Q 6 3/4 mid woofers new in the box. i heard they were very good things about them and from the overall look and woofer cone material they look very stout. Anyone have experience with these mids?

I was never impressed by their sound. Got loud but lacked midbass and a bit harsh.

My friend had some well....a 5 1/4 set and 2 6 1/2" sets in his mazda and they sounded really good. I don't know if they were called Fanatic Q at that time though....they say The Audiophile on the dustcap of the drivers.

this is what i have but just their 6 3/4" mid woofers minus the crossover and tweeter.

i measured them and their more like a 7" instead of a 6 3/4". I hope someone has some info in these mids, im gonna run them in a active set up so im still looking for some tweets to match them up with. probably some silk domes of some sort
