what do you run now?

In my 2004 Silverado: Alpine 7969, JL 1000/1 and 300/2, 2- USD pro 12's, JL XR components.

Just picked up a HHR SS last week, Have 2 pair of JL XR 6.5's laying around that are going in it. Waiting on 500/1, 300/4, 8w3v3, and clean sweeps to come in that I got off of ebay. Still need to get some sort of dampening material, wiring, fiberglass resen ect..... It will be a few months before I start the install.

w3 from JL is not that great, only thing worth anything is their w6 and up, but nice equipments overall though.

Has to look stock, the car has an 8" factory sub w/ .40 of airspace. You know of another 8 that will work better? Keep in mind, I use this car for picking up my kids and doing "family" orented stuff. Just looking for loud and clean. I've used many, many, many amps. As far as sound quality, JL is tough to beat for the price.

8w7? Or check out Soundsplinter.com, their 8" RL-i are pretty badass supposedly.
