old kenwood amp question

hey all, new guy here. i ended up on this doing a search for my old kenwood kac-7295 amp and there doesnt seem to be much info on it anywhere on the net, i was looking for the manual and found a post on here from someone selling one a few years ago http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-classifieds-old-replies-only/309668-fs-old-school-kenwood-kac-7295-amp.html

anyways long story short, i have this amp stored away in one of hundred boxes in my basement lol and it hasnt been used in about 8 years or so. my question is - do you all think this amp will still work ok? i recently bought a new dart and was thinking about digging it out and throwing it in there with a new 12. wasnt sure if i'd be better off buying a new amp or if this one would be good enough to do the job and not worry about it catching fire or something from its age in my new baby. thanks
