ok so i need help with this lol

aright..i have 2 12" rockford fosgate hx2 power subs and no amp yet. they are 2 ohm DVC and i just realized i wont be able to power them at 1 ohm. i just finish looking online and it says i can power em with final loads of 0.5 ohms or 2 ohms. they require 1000 watts rms each and what i need to know is how much watts would my amp need to reach that at 0.5 ohms and also at 2 ohms. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, you can't wire them at 4-ohm. I'd look for an amp that puts out 1500-2000wrms @ 2-ohm.

The new fosgate T20001bd amp. Highly underrated and probably puts out 1700-1800 watts @ 2ohm.

2 ohms is eaisier to find power than 4 ohms.

Or actually get 2 1-ohm stable amps because your subs are dual 2-ohm.
